Accessibility Features:

Our websites are designed with the following accessibility features in mind:-

  • Primary site navigation is located at the top of each page.
  • Site "Quick Links" can be accessed in the header of every page
  • Sitemap navigation is located at the bottom of each page.
  • Secondary navigation elements are located on the left of each page.
  • Navigation menus are marked up as HTML lists and styled with CSS.
  • We use relative font sizes on our websites so text can be increased or decreased using your browser.
  • Our website conforms to the XHTML 1.0 Transitional standard.
  • Some links have 'title' attributes, which describes the link in more detail and provides context.
  • Links on the same page with the same text, will always point to the same location unless differentiated with the 'title' attribute.
  • To aid screen readers, forms have labels associated with their controls.
  • We try to use clear and simple language.
  • We use alternative ('alt') text for all our images that convey information to the user. The alt text we use provides context to the user. Images used for design purposes only, will have empty alternative text.
  • This site utilises a small amount of JavaScript to enhance the user experience. If you your browser software does not fully support JavaScript or it has been disabled, the core functionality of the site will still be available.
